Standardization rules for TiO2 nanoparticles and film performances in Dyes Sensitized Solar Cells.

 

WP6 will focus on designing rules for the standardization of the performance measurement in Dyes Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC). This task involves the study of existing correlation between DSSC performances and the properties at nanometric (and molecular) level of TiO2 nanoparticles produced in WP1 as well as the features resulting from assemblies made on conductive substrate as realized in WP3. Dye anchoring and dye loading will be be main parameters considered. In order to prove materials viability, laboratory solar cells will be produced. Solar energy to electric power conversion efficiency will be evaluated under standard global AM 1.5 illumination and compared to state of the art devices made by partner SOLAR using reference materials. Stability, which is a crucial parameter for industrial applications, will be assessed.
